Lydia,  I for one am so happy to have "met" you and I applaude your tenacity and your unconditional love for these abandoned and abused animals.  I am now your shelter's friend for life.  When I can I will help you with money to help offset the costs of taking care of these gentle souls that I will never meet on this earth (more than likely) but I'm sure I will meet them in heaven because that is for sure where they will go at the end of their lives.   I wish people who had no intention of keeping their animals never got them to begin with and all those who get a dog or cat would spay or neuter them.  I love your spunk (have read your letters to relinquishing owners and had to laugh!).  You are truly a friend and benefactor to these animals.  God bless you for your work, you will be richly rewarded.  Maybe not on this earth, but where it reallys counts, in heaven with God.  With warmest aloha,  Pauline
